Spine with brown leather title block has the fabric torn top to bottom beside the front hinge. Foxed throughout. Previous owner's stamp on front flyleaf. A frontis map has 2/3 torn away. Book is completely readable, contains an amazing history of a dread disease in the early nineteenth century. Good.

Corners bumped. Bright gilt lettering on spine "The Family Library No. 71" in embellished box. Binding tight. Light foxing throughout. Another in the Harper Family Series focusing on education, history and social sciences. Very Good.

All pages aged, staple binding tight.
