On the verso of the title page is printed, "250 Copies of this edition have been printed, of which this is No. ..........." Handwritten, beneath this, it says, "Trial binding, no endpapers, non numbered." Binding is gray paper over boards over a black cloth spine. Pasted-on, paper title block on front cover. Covers and spine are slightly aged and covers are lightly discolored. Spine ends and corners are rubbed. B/w frontis reproduction, actual size, of a page from the diary. Text, on laid paper, is very slightly aged. Very Good.
