Plate 1 repeated twice, first time uncolored, second time colored as are all of the subsequent plates (1-24), depicting various plants from the herbal in alphabetical order. Good.

This is one of 100 copies of this publication published by the University of Vermont Libraries to accompany an exhibition of the same name that was bound by Stephanie Westnedge for friends of the Janus Press.
This edition signed by Westnedge and inscribed by Janus Press founder Claire Van Vliet to the recipient. Fine.

An exceptional copy of the catalog raisonne of the first twenty years of The Janus Press.

Pages were trimmed slightly when rebound.
Complete printed indexes of Volumes 1-120 of the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society of London. Each index arranged in two formats, alphabetical by subject and alphabetical by author. Rare in having three complete indexes (in two volumes) covering the years 1665 to 1830, Vol I: 1665-1780; Vol. II 1781-1820 & 1821-1830. Very Good.

Christian Fechner (1944-2008) was one of the premiere collectors of magic memoribilia. This three part sale, over three years, was one of the largest of its kind and was completed a year before Fechner's death at the age of 64. Very Good.
