Eps have previous ownership in ink on ffep. Contents clean and tight, with an occasional small spot. Title page is chipped along edges, may have been re-glued, since frontis is not present. Red cloth covered boards and clean and crisp, light sunning at the very tip of head and foot of spine. Decorated endpapers with Molly's windowsill complete with two potted flowers and a steaming pie. Dust Jacket, if you would like to call it that, is a crumpled linen napkin wrapped around the edition with a long cord tie that winds around to secure the cloth. Genius! Boards have an applied acrylic with a rough texture, and a linen backstrip. The book consists of a poem by Meynell with six sepia still lifes of cherries, sausages, and white bread. Susan Johanknecht designed the piece and set the text, recipes written out by Alix Meynell.
This is #51 of 150 copies and is signed by Johanknecht and Meynell at the colophon. Fine / fine.
