Slight fraying at head and foot of spine, small tear at head of spine at rear hinge, bumping to corners. Endpapers decorated with simple drawings of vegetables and meat sources printed in green ink on yellow paper. Interior has numerous marking from previous owner underlining ingredients, checking off what must have been recipes they tried, etc.
What is often missed in this volume is the four black and white photographs of vegetables by Edward Weston that are included within the recipe index at rear. Very Good.
