A history of the Order of Saint Lazarus which was formed during the Crusades around 1119. This is a limited edition produced in an edition of 500 copies this being #42, signed at the colophon by the Secretary of the order. It also has the copy number and recipient name embossed on the cover, James J. Algrant (1926-2018). Algrant was the author of "Military and Hospitaller Order of St. Lazarus of Jerusalem - An up-date to the History of the Order 1983 to 1987" and this copy is inscribed to him as well by the author on the second free endpaper. OCLC indicates only three copies in institutional collections.
