Henry C. Trost (1860-1933) who practiced primarly in the Southwest, specifically Tucson (1899-1903) and El Paso (1903-1933). Trost's early work show's a definite influence of both the Chicago Style of architecture championed by Louis Sullivan and the Prairie School popularized by Frank Lloyd Wright. Trost was adept in many styles including Mission Revival and Art Moderne of the late 1920s and early 1930s. A pioneering and prolific architect of the early 20th century.
