Backstrip is white ivory, lettered on front and spine in brown. Glossy pictorial dj is unclipped, unpriced. Front cover is a color photo of the Catherine Palace. White lettering on black spine. Upper edges of dj have a bit of chipping, with a small chip at head of spine. Brown/white eps are a pictorial vista of the park with palace in the background. Half-title page has lengthy ink gift inscription. Contents are clean and tight, and breathtakingly beautiful. The Russian town of Pushkin was famous for its magnificient palace and parks created in the 18th and 19th Centuries. Although much of the town was destroyed during World War II, it has been restored to its prewar splendor. This book contains a history of the restoration as well as showing many of the contents of the museums and palaces. A beautiful book about an enchanting place. Very good / Very Good.
