Gift inscription on ffep, which is damp-stained at corners. Some damp stains at rear of book also, although not noticeable in text. Reprint of a 1933 edition. A well-researched and frequently documented account of some of the earliest history of a small town in Maine. Among the leading citizens of this town were several authors, including Rebecca Clark, who wrote as "Sophie May"; four Congressmen; and several distinguished clergymen. Very Good.
