Handsome binding of red and black marbled boards backed with textured red leather spine having four raised bands and gilt title. Corners are slightly bumped and there is edgewear to bottom edges. Interesting eps are a striated tan cloth overlaid by a red design. On first fly is an inscription indicating this was a school prize, with different ownership in ink below. Contents uniformly aged, clean, and tight. Text entirely in French. A striking addition to any library. Very Good Plus.
