All are clean and tight, with Vol. 3 being the index. Each has a bookplate on ffep or inside cover. The survey was conducted April 1 to August 31, 1935, under the funding of the Works Progress Administration. Contents are listed by county and then alphabetically. Part II contains an Introduction on Maine Maps by well-known author Fannie Hardy Eckstorm. These books contain a wealth of information just in their description of the reference materials. An almost-impossible-to-find set in prime condition. Very Good.
