With questions for examination at the end of each section, besides a variety of valuable information, added throughout the work, etc."....illustrated with thirty engravings on wood by Atherton and Lubbren. First American, corrected and revised, from the twenty-third English edition. Covers are textured reddish-brown cloth backed with leather, gilt lettering on spine. Small closed tear center of spine head. Leather spine sunned from its original dark red. Foxed on prelims, only slightly within text block. Two penciled p.o.'s on ffep. Corners lightly bumped. Binding tight, aged. Very Good.
