Chicago: A. C. McClurg & Co. 1902. Green Cloth. Presumed First. 299 pp. Part of the "Southern Sketches Series." Front cover and spine have blind-stamped, bright gilt lettering and decoration. Covers and spine are almost like new. Spine ends and corners are very slightly bumped and rubbed. Edges are lightly aged and soiled. "Library Regulations" bookplate on front paste-down and "Discarded" rubber-stamped in purple ink. Brief ink inscription and pencil notation on ffep. Small library rubber-stamp, in purple ink, on title page. Text is very slightly aged and, occasionally, very slightly foxed. Near Fine.
