Black and gray patterned paper over boards cover has green cloth backstrip with a brown (sunned gilt?) title block on spine. Black lettering. Off-white dj has photo on front from Carlton College performance. Black and red lettering. Dj is unclipped, but is soiled with a few edge tears and chips at spine ends. Heavy black signature on ffep. Stage play from the novel which, in the author's own words, "Married a natural-born pioneer to a fine, sensitive woman; then I turned them loose on the prairies and watched what would happen." Very Good / Near Very Good.
