Elaborate gilt title on front Spine has gilt bands and lettering. Corners worn, as are all edges. Spine is scuffed and worn at both ends, front cover detached. All edges gilt. Inside is immaculate, with individual histories of 36 towns, accompanied by 171 full-page ills. of people and places. Biographical sketches of almost that many citizens make this a genealogist's treasure. This is a large heavy book, more than 3 " thick. Good.
