The handsome dark red book has spine and corners of smooth calf set off by narrow gilt rules. Corners mildly rubbed. The red cloth backing is attractive textured fabric. Unusual spine has one raised band, is trimmed and lettered in gilt, somewhat worn. Hinges show wear, but no splitting. Teg. Pink and pastel marbled eps are separated at front hinge. Binding signed by Beckers & Son. Short gift inscription on first fly. Burgundy ribbon bookmark intact. Contents tight and bright, a lovely collection of poetry referring to the nation India. Very, Very Good.
