Brussels, Leyde and Paris: Weckesser Freres; A.W. Sijthoff; Maurice Rousseau, 1924. Paper Wraps. Limited/Numbered. Stiff paper wraps, with three fold-over flaps with deckled edges, form the portfolio for the unbound leaves. Portfolio contains an inner stiff paper wrapper; a 4-page, 8 1/2"x10 1/2", pamphlet entitled, "Oeuvre Nationale pour la Reproduction de Manuscrits a Miniatures de Belgique; a section of 68 unopened signature pages which contain the title page and Introduction; another stiff paper wrapper entitled, "Les Tres belles Heures de Bruxelles," which contains 23 individual, full-page, full-color reproductions of illuminated manuscript pages; and yet another stiff paper wrapper entitled, "Planches Documentaires," which contains 14 individual, full-page, b/w plates. Exterior wrapper is slightly aged and edge-worn. Interior wrappers and their contents are slightly aged. Quite a find! Very Good / Very Good.
