Deep brown leather covers, with delicate blind-stamped decorations and rules, have been hand-worn to a rich patina. Spine, with five raised bands, is worn and cracked along the hinges, front board holding on by binding cords. Spine surface is crackled and the ends are worn and chipped off. Corners are bumped and rubbed. boards. Edges are aged and soiled. "Dykes Proberbs" has been written in ink on one page edge. Front hinge is starting. Front fly leaves are loose. Slight ink doodling on front paste-down and first free endpaper. Text, on laid paper, is aged, particularly along the edges and the preliminaries. Interior is also occasionally soiled or foxed. Good.
