Bright, blind-stamped gilt lettering on front cover and spine. Covers and spine are somewhat aged, soiled and shelf-worn. Black cloth spine ends are bumped, worn and frayed. Corners are bumped and frayed to the boards. T.e.g. B/w frontis illustration, "Francesca at Six Years Old Painted by her father." Several other b/w illustrations. Interior is slightly aged, but clean and crisp. Very Good.
