First Edition. 324 pp. Volume III of the "Lives of the Chief Fathers of New England" Covers have blind-stamped, overall decorative motif. Spine has blind-stamped, fairly bright gilt lettering and ornamentation. Front hinge is splitting and upper half of spine is beginning to detach. Covers and spine are slightly aged, soiled and edge-worn. Spine ends are chipped. Corners are bumped and frayed to the boards. Small portions of the the lower cover edges are also frayed to the boards. Pale yellow eps. Ffep has been removed. Page edges are somewhat aged and soiled. Interior is clean and the pages are still extremely white. However, they are also heavily foxed. Good.
